SPYCRA® Protect

SPYCRA® Protect is a dressing made of soft and silky bi-elastic lycra fibres, with self-adherent properties and a unilateral silicone contact layer. SPYCRA® Protect is bi-elastic, meaning it is elastic in both directions, longitudinally and transversely; it can be repositioned and has rounded edges to ensure better in-situ retention. SPYCRA® Protect has breathable properties and supports the wound healing process according to the principle of moist wound healing. SPYCRA® Protect is non-absorbent. The silicone contact layer features “ReSkinSilicone Skin Technology”, a patented combination of elastic fibres and a soft, self-adherent silicone layer.

Indications

SPYCRA® Protect is a protective dressing to be used for:

  • Prevention of friction wounds and skin irritation (intertrigo, etc.)
  • Superficial wounds with no or slight exudate
  • Recently healed wounds for scar management.

Composition

SPYCRA® Protect consists of:

  • A silicone contact layer – “Patented ReSkin SILICONE SKIN TECHNOLOGY”
  • Bi-elastic Lycra knitted fabric with loops
  • Release and protective layer for the adhesive side
